The Science of Weather

This course in meteorology is part of the Summer Science Institute for High School and Community College Teachers sponsored by:

The lecturer for the course was Professor Gerald Dunifer. Assistant Professor James Johnson ran the laboratory section and is in charge of the network of weather stations shown on this page.

One central part of this year's course is the funding by the Community Foundation of computerized weather stations at the high schools of 10 of the participants. These are scattered throughout the metro area and relay weather information back to this web page.
